Technical Works

The State Revenue Committee (SRC) of the Republic of Kazakhstan has announced a series of technical works scheduled for 29 July 2026 aimed at modernising the electronic tax and customs platforms. The works include upgrading the server infrastructure, implementing new data‑validation algorithms, and integrating additional compliance modules to align with the Eurasian Economic Union’s regulatory standards. During the maintenance window, certain automated services will be temporarily unavailable, and taxpayers are advised to plan their submissions accordingly. The initiative is part of the broader “100 Specific Steps” reform programme, which seeks to improve transparency, reduce processing times, and strengthen anti‑avoidance measures. The SRC has issued detailed notices to all stakeholders, including large corporate taxpayers, customs brokers, and regional tax offices, outlining the schedule and impact. A dedicated support team will be on standby to assist with any issues arising during the transition. Post‑maintenance, the committee expects a measurable improvement in system resilience and a reduction in error rates for declarations. Monitoring mechanisms will be enhanced to track performance metrics in real time, ensuring that any anomalies are promptly addressed. This effort underscores Kazakhstan’s commitment to adopting international best practices in tax administration and to fostering a more efficient and trustworthy fiscal environment.
