Over ₲ 119,000 million disbursed today by the Public Treasury to pay State suppliers

Today the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) disbursed a total of ₲ 119,017 million to settle payment obligations to suppliers and creditors of the State. These payments are financed through three primary budgetary sources: Source 10 (Treasury Resources), Source 20 (Public Credit Resources), and Source 30 (Institutional Resources). The Treasury’s payment mechanism relies on Transfer Request Orders (STR) submitted by various state entities, ensuring that each transaction aligns with pre‑approved financial commitments. This operation highlights the Ministry’s role in managing the State’s cash flow, guaranteeing that all contractual obligations to external contractors, service providers, and creditors are honored promptly. The scale of the disbursement reflects the substantial volume of economic activity linked to public contracts and the importance of maintaining liquidity within the national procurement ecosystem. Such payments are critical for sustaining infrastructure projects, contractual services, and the broader economic stimulus derived from public sector spending. The release also demonstrates the Ministry’s systematic approach to financial management, which incorporates rigorous monitoring and reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility and transparency in the use of public funds.
